Centennial Reunion | October 19, 2013
"Alpha Sigma Centennial-- Absolutely amazing! I couldn't be more proud of the active members who graciously hosted more than 450 returning sisters, who traveled from all over the country to celebrate this special event. I loved just sitting back and watching all of you interact with one another, and can't wait to hear the stories shared, covering so many decades. People often say, "if the walls could only speak". Well this weekend was as good as it gets, with reunions and memories of so many, who have shared life, within these walls! I feel so privileged to be here, and to share in the celebration with you." Marilyn Isaacson, Theta House Director
"So proud to be a Theta!! So inspired to continue relationships and give back!" Elizabeth Ann Wilkins '83
"I want the current members to know how much we all appreciate their hospitality and sincere welcome. They made it still feel like "home" for all of us who lived there in past decades." Dee Campbell Adams '64
"It was truly a memorable weekend. I enjoyed sharing the events with my daughter, and meeting her friends that she hadn't seen since graduation. The house is beautiful - so much fun to tour and relive the "olden days". My husband and I had our wedding reception in the old living room (now the library), and the old dining room. I was impressed with the actives. They were so gracious and welcoming, and loved hearing the stories the alums had to tell. I hope they have renewed pride in Kappa Alpha Theta, and realize the lifelong connection that exists." Susan Hicks Vitums '57
" I had such a wonderful time going down memory lane! Thanks to the current actives for opening up the house to us Alums. You were more than gracious, generous and helpful. I am proud to call each and every one of you my sister!" Ann Flanigan Penfield '95
"Thank you all for a life-long memory! All of us 80 somethings were very impressed with the actives and their very kind attention to all of us." Jeanne Ager '52
"Such a wonderful weekend! I loved seeing old friends and reconnecting with Theta. As a senior member, I appreciate seeing the younger Thetas so helpful and so beautiful throughout the weekend. I left feeling very proud to be associated with such an outstanding group of women." Paula Johnson '59
"An epic once-in-a-lifetime Reunion weekend indeed. Beyond proud to be a WSU Theta! Beyond grateful for the ladies that made the event happen, no small task. Infinite snaps, full of class and well done. THANK YOU. Cheers to lifelong Theta friends, XO!" Teresa Hambelton '98
